The Robo 3T (formerly Robomongo) tool has been acquired by 3T Software Labs, the creators of the MongoDB client Studio 3T (formerly MongoChef). 3T will continue development of Robo 3T in parallel with its own MongoDB GUI and the good news is that it will be making Robo 3T. There are many alternatives to Robo 3T for Mac if you are looking to replace it. The most popular Mac alternative is Studio 3T.It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try Nosqlclient or NoSQLBooster for MongoDB.If that doesn't suit you, our users have ranked 14 alternatives to Robo 3T and ten of them are available for Mac so hopefully you can find a suitable.

Update: New version released, Robomongo 0.9.0 RC3. We recommend to use the latest version, because it contains critical fixes.
Robomongo 0.9.0 RC2 released today for all three major platforms.
In this release we fixed critical issue with incorrect shutdown of embedded MongoDB shells, that was part of Robomongo since the first release. Implementation for this fix was kindly provided by Patrick Horlebein. Thank you, Patrick!
Comparing with RC1, validation and parsing of BSON objects is restored.
Location of configuration file was changed. We made this change in order to isolate 0.9.x releases from 0.8.x releases. You now can safely use both versions of Robomongo on the same machine. For versions 0.9.x it will be located here:
And finally, we now have Robomongo 0.9.0 for Windows. We had a chance to test it on Windows 10, 8.1 and 7. Still we need to collect more feedback.
Robo 3t Install
This is a first 64-bit release for Windows in a history of Robomongo. We are now planning to investigate, do we need to support 32-bit releases? If you are using Windows 32-bit, please write us ([email protected]) or tweet (@robomongo).
